Hello! I'm Jainta Paul (call me JP for short), a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Utah, advised by Dr. Luis Garcia. Originally from Tangail, Bangladesh, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and my Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah.
My research focuses on the security, safety, and privacy of cyber-physical systems. Before pursuing my Ph.D., I spent 18 months at OpenRefactory, Inc. as a Software Engineer, working on static code analysis techniques.
When I'm not researching, you'll find me following football — I'm a devoted fan of FC Barcelona and the Argentina National Team (Leo Messi is the GOAT!). I'm also grateful to share my journey with my partner, whose support makes every step along the way more meaningful.
